RADIATING PAIN TREATMENT

The term “radiculitis” refers to a radiating pain that runs down the patient’s leg to the foot. Even though not a common nerve pain, it can cause severe pain and discomfort for people who experience it.

Radiating pain is caused when a nerve or the nerve root experiences pressure. This can be due to spinal subluxation or inflammation. For example, a herniated disk stimulates a radiating pain because it bulges out of its normal place and exerting pressure on a nerve root that extends from the spinal cord.
